Zhongdu

Zhongdu, also known as Daxing City, was a historical capital city of China located in modern-day Beijing. Specifically, it is situated in the southwestern part of the Xicheng District.

The city served as the capital for the Jurchen-led Jin dynasty between 1153 and 1214. It remains a significant historical site associated with the governance of the Jin dynasty during the 12th and early 13th centuries.
