Shanxia is a monospecific genus of ankylosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. It was discovered in the Shanxi Province of China, specifically within the layers of what is now identified as the Huiquanpu Formation.
The dinosaur is characterized by its classification as an ankylosaurine. Some paleontological research suggests that Shanxia may represent a junior synonym of Tianzhenosaurus, another ankylosaurine species also known from the Huiquanpu Formation in China.
