Pingxi

Pingxi District is a rural district located in New Taipei, Taiwan. It holds the distinction of having the smallest population among all the districts within New Taipei City, with a recorded population of 4,253 as of February 2023.

The district is historically significant for its role as an important coal mining town during the early 20th century. Geographically, it serves as a notable landmark for the Keelung River, which originates in Jingtong, a location situated within the Pingxi District.
