Dongzhang is a name used in Chinese to refer to the Chumi Gyatse Falls, which are located in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The site is situated near the border with the Tibet region of China and lies close to the Line of Actual Control, the de facto border between the two countries.
The falls consist of a collection of 108 holly waterfalls originating from between the mountains. According to local Buddhist tradition, these falls symbolize the blessings of Guru Padmasambhava. One account places the site just 250 metres away from the Line of Actual Control.
