Dajia District is a coastal suburban district located in the northwestern corner of Taichung, Taiwan. The region features a sub-tropical climate with an average temperature of approximately 24 degrees Celsius.
In March 2012, the area was recognized by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan as one of the Top 10 Small Tourist Towns. It serves as a notable coastal destination within the Taichung municipality.
