Baicheng is a prefecture-level city located in the northwestern region of Jilin province, China. It serves as a border territory, situated adjacent to Inner Mongolia to the north and west, and Heilongjiang to the east and northeast.
The administrative area of Baicheng covers approximately 25,683 square kilometers (9,916 square miles). According to data from the 2010 census, the city had a population of 2,033,058 residents living within its boundaries.
