Wuxi is a city located in the southern Jiangsu province of China. Situated within the southern Yangtze delta, the city borders Lake Tai and has a population of approximately 7,495,000 as of 2024.
The city features several notable landmarks, including Lihu Park, Xihui Park, Wuxi Zoo, and the Wuxi Museum. It is also home to the Mt. Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area, which contains an 88-meter (289 ft) tall Grand Buddha statue at Ling Shan. Additionally, the city hosts Jiangnan University.
Wuxi is well-connected by various transportation networks, including Wuxi Shuofang Airport and the Wuxi Metro. It serves as a stop for major rail lines such as the Shanghai–Nanjing intercity high-speed railway and the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway.
