Wuqiao

Wuqiao County is a county located in southeastern Hebei province, China. It serves as the southernmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Cangzhou and shares a border with Shandong province to the southeast.

The county covers an area of 583 km2 (225 sq mi) and had a population of 220,000 in 2020. It encompasses 444 natural villages and is situated in the center of the Huabei Plains. With a history spanning more than 1,500 years, Wuqiao is recognized as an old county with a rich cultural heritage.

The region experiences a pleasant climate for most of the year, making it accessible to visitors at almost any time. It is characterized by its long historical timeline and its geographical position within the plains.
