The Tian Shan, also known as the Tengri Tagh or Tengir-Too, is a large system of mountain ranges located in Central Asia. While it spans across multiple regions, its geographical extent includes significant elevations and depressions.

The highest peak within the range is Jengish Chokusu, which reaches an elevation of 7,439 metres (24,406 ft) and is situated in Kyrgyzstan. Conversely, the lowest point of the system is found at the Turpan Depression, which sits at 154 m (505 ft) below sea level.
