Suqian is a prefecture-level city located in the northern region of Jiangsu Province, China. It serves as an administrative center within the province, situated in a geographical position that connects several neighboring regions.
The city is bordered by Xuzhou to the northwest and Lianyungang to the northeast. To its south lies the city of Huai'an, while its western border is shared with the neighboring province of Anhui.
