Jinnan District is a district located in the city of Tianjin, People's Republic of China. It is situated on the western bank of the lower reaches of the Hai River.
Formerly known as Nanjiao District, the area's name translates literally to "South Tianjin" or "South of Tianjin." This designation refers to its geographical location relative to the urban core of the city.
