Beigang, also known as Hokkō or Peikang, is an urban township located in Yunlin County, Taiwan. As of February 2023, the township has a recorded population of 37,763 residents.
The area is primarily recognized for housing the Chaotian Temple. This site is one of the most prominent temples dedicated to Mazu, the sea goddess, on the island of Taiwan.
