Lianhu District is one of the 11 urban districts located within the prefecture-level city of Xi'an. Situated in Northwest China, it serves as a constituent part of the capital city of Shaanxi Province.
The district derives its name from Lianhu Park, which is situated within its boundaries. Geographically, Lianhu District shares borders with several other urban areas: Weiyang to the north, Xincheng to the east, Beilin to the southeast, and Yanta to the southeast.
