Gongxi is a rural town located in Xinhuang Dong Autonomous County within the Hunan province of China. It covers a total area of 69.8 square kilometres (26.9 sq mi) and had a recorded population of 13,492 as of the 2015 census.
The town is bordered by several surrounding administrative areas: Fuluo Town lies to the north, Pingdi Town to the west, Zhuxi Township to the east, and Tianzhu County to the south.
