Ganzhou, also known by the romanization Kanchow, is a prefecture-level city located in southern Jiangxi province, China. The city serves as an important regional hub and its administrative seat is situated in the Zhanggong District.
The city is geographically positioned at a crossroads bordering several provinces, including Fujian to the east, Guangdong to the south, and Hunan to the west.
