Zhapu, also known by the romanizations Chapoo or Chapu, is a town located in northern Zhejiang Province, China. It falls under the administration of Pinghu and occupies an area of 54.4 square kilometers.
The town is situated along the northern shore of Hangzhou Bay in the southeastern section of Pinghu. Geographically, it shares borders with Haiyan County to its south and southeast. Zhapu has a recorded population of approximately 54,000 residents.
