Wenling is a coastal county-level city located in the municipal region of Taizhou within the southeastern Zhejiang province of China. It is situated at coordinates 28°22'N, 121°21'E, approximately 300 km (190 mi) south of Shanghai.
The city borders Luqiao and Huangyan to the north, Yuhuan to the south, and Yueqing to the west. It faces the East China Sea to its east.
