Tongxiang City is a county-level city located in northern Zhejiang Province, China. It serves as part of the prefecture-level city of Jiaxing and shares a border with Jiangsu province to the north.
As of the 2020 census, Tongxiang had a population of 1,029,754 residents. While its built-up area is smaller than its total population suggests, the city is expanding rapidly to the east and is nearly conurbated with the Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing.
