Quzhou

Quzhou is a prefecture-level city located in western Zhejiang province, China. It is situated on the upper course of the Qiantang River and shares borders with several neighboring regions, including Hangzhou to the north, Jinhua to the east, and Lishui to the southeast. The city also borders the provinces of Fujian, Jiangxi, and Anhui to its south, southwest, and northwest.

According to the 2020 census, Quzhou has a population of 2,276,184 inhabitants. Of this total, 902,767 residents live within the built-up area, which is composed of the Qujiang and Kecheng urban districts. The city is also notable as the birthplace of Chinese actress and singer Zhou Xun.
