Puyang is a prefecture-level city located in the northeastern region of Henan province, China. It is situated on the northern shore of the Yellow River.
The city shares borders with several neighboring regions, including Anyang to the west and Xinxiang to the southwest. To its east and north, Puyang borders the provinces of Shandong and Hebei, respectively.
