Ningbo

China

Ningbo is a sub-provincial city located in northeast Zhejiang province, People's Republic of China. The city comprises six urban districts, two satellite county-level cities, and two rural counties, which include several islands situated in Hangzhou Bay and the East China Sea.

As the southern economic center of the Yangtze Delta megalopolis—a region that includes Shanghai—Ningbo serves as a major industrial hub. It is home to the port of Ningbo–Zhoushan, which is spread across multiple locations. Since 2010, this port has been recognized as the world's busiest by cargo tonnage and the world's third-busiest container port.
