Luotuo City is a location situated in China within the Hexi Corridor. It is specifically positioned at Xitan Village in Luotuo Village, located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of the seat of Gaotai County in Gansu Province.
Historically, the site served as a typical frontier commandery city during the Han and Tang dynasties. Records from the Qing dynasty, specifically the Chongxiu Suzhou Xinzhi compiled between 1735 and 1737, identify Luotuo City as the common name for the former city of Jiankang.
