Jinhua is a prefecture-level city located in the central-western region of Zhejiang province in eastern China. It serves as a significant administrative division bordering several other major cities, including Hangzhou to the northwest, Quzhou to the southwest, Lishui to the south, Taizhou to the east, and Shaoxing to the northeast.
According to the 2020 census, the city has a total population of 7,050,683. This includes 1,463,990 residents living within its built-up area, which is comprised of two urban districts.
