Shouchun

Shou County, also known as Shouxian, is a county located in the north-central region of Anhui Province, China. It sits on the southern (right) bank of the Huai River and serves as the southernmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Huainan. The jurisdiction was officially transferred from Lu'an to Huainan on December 3, 2015.

The county covers an area of 2,986 km² (1,153 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 1,280,000. It is designated as a National Cultural and Historical City.
