Mingguang is a county-level city located in the northeastern region of Anhui Province, China. Formerly known as Jiashan County, the city currently falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Chuzhou city.
The city is situated along the borders of Jiangsu province to its northeast and east. It serves as a regional hub within the province's geographical layout.
