Jingzhou is a prefecture-level city located in the southern region of Hubei province, China. It is situated on the banks of the Yangtze River.
According to the 2020 census, the total residential population of Jingzhou was 5,231,180. Of this population, 1,068,291 residents live within the city's built-up area, which consists of two urban districts.
