Huaibei is a prefecture-level city located in northern Anhui Province, China. It occupies an administrative area of 2,741 km² and serves as a regional center bordering several other jurisdictions.
The city shares borders with Suzhou to the east, Bengbu to the south, and Bozhou to the west. Additionally, it is situated along the provincial boundaries of Henan to the northwest and Jiangsu to the northeast. As of the 2020 census, Huaibei had a population of 1,970,165 inhabitants, all of whom reside within the city's built-up area.
