Changxi, also known as Changyi, is a Chinese lunar goddess within the traditional Chinese pantheon. Her origins date back to ancient times, with the earliest historical records of her existence found in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
In mythology, Changxi is identified as the wife of Di Jun and the mother of the twelve moons. In comparative mythology, she is considered the Greek equivalent of Selene.
