Chang'an

Chang'an is an ancient city located in the Shaanxi province of modern-day China. Historically, it served as one of the most significant cultural and political centers in East Asia, notably functioning as the eastern terminus of the Silk Road.

The city was famously the capital of several Chinese dynasties, most notably the Tang Dynasty. During this period, Chang'an was renowned as a cosmopolitan hub of trade, religion, and art, characterized by its large-scale urban planning and diverse international population.
