Yambeta, also known as Nigi, is a language belonging to the Mbam family located in Cameroon. It serves as a primary linguistic identity for its speakers within the region.
The language consists of four distinct dialects: Nigii, Nɛdɛk, Begi, and Nibum. Among these, Nigii is identified as the largest dialect, while Begi and Nibum are categorized as lesser dialects.
