Mokolo is a city situated in the Far North region of Cameroon. It serves as the departmental capital and is the largest city within the Mayo-Tsanaga department.
Geographically, Mokolo is located in the Mandara Mountains, which stretch along the border between Cameroon and Nigeria. Within the Far North Province, it ranks as the fourth largest city, following Maroua, Yagoua, and Kousséri.
