Kousseri, also known as Mser in the indigenous Mser language, is a city located in the Far North Province of Cameroon. It serves as the capital of the Logone-et-Chari department.

The city functions as a market town and has experienced significant population growth recently due to an influx of refugees from Chad. According to the 2005 Census, the city had a population of 89,123. The majority of the inhabitants are Shuwa Arabs, who use Chadian Arabic as their lingua franca.
