Buea is the capital city of the Southwest Region of Cameroon. It is situated in the Fako Division on the eastern slopes of Mount Cameroon and has a population of approximately 47,300 inhabitants as of 2025.
The city features a Government Residential Area which houses two notable accommodations: the Mountain Hotel and the Parliamentarian Flats Hotel.
