Nkongsamba is a city located in western Cameroon within the Moungo department of the Littoral region. According to the 2005 Census, the city had a population of 104,050 residents. The geographical landscape is defined by its position between two mountains: the Manengouba Massif and Mount Nlonako.
The city serves as an agricultural center for the production of coffee, bananas, and palm oil. Locally, the central point of the city is referred to as "Ville," while other areas are measured in "Kilo" based on their distance in kilometers. The region is linguistically diverse; Mbo (Manenguba) is one of the languages used locally, while Kaa and Baneka are spoken in the surrounding district.
