Quellón is a port city and commune located in the southern part of Chiloé Island within the Los Lagos Region of Chile. It serves as one of the southern terminal points for both the Panamerican Highway and the Pacific Coast Highway.
The city functions as a primary hub for the aquaculture and fisheries industries, serving the southern regions of Chiloé as well as the Guaitecas and Chonos archipelagoes to the south. Additionally, Quellón is connected to various Patagonian settlements, including Melinka, Puerto Cisnes, and Puerto Chacabuco, via several ferry lanes.
