Nunoa

Ñuñoa is a commune situated in the northeastern sector of Santiago, the capital city of Chile. It covers a total area of 16.9 km2 (6.5 sq mi) and serves as one of the urban districts within the metropolitan region.

The municipality is bordered by Providencia to the north and west, Macul to the south, and Peñalolén and La Reina to the east. As of the 2024 census, the commune had a population of 241,467 residents.

Established on May 6, 1894, Ñuñoa holds the distinction of being the oldest municipality in the traditional east end of Santiago.
