Rancagua is a city and commune situated in central Chile. It serves as the capital of both the Cachapoal Province and the O'Higgins Region. The city is part of the larger Rancagua conurbation.

Located approximately 87 km (54 mi) south of Santiago, the national capital, Rancagua is a significant regional hub within the country's central geography.
