Graneros

Chile

Graneros is a commune and city located in central Chile within the Cachapoal Province of the O’Higgins Region. It covers a total area of 113 km² and has a population of 35,938 inhabitants, consisting of 17,613 men and 18,325 women.

The city is situated approximately 74.36 km from the capital city of Santiago and 11.97 km from Rancagua. Together with the neighboring communes of Mostazal and Codegua, Graneros forms part of the Northern Cone area of the O’Higgins Region. It serves as a primary urban center for the region, acting as a significant hub for commercial, service, and agro-industrial development.
