Chimbarongo is a city and commune located in the O'Higgins Region of Chile. It is situated approximately 160 km (99 mi) south of the capital, Santiago, within the Colchagua Province.
The area is known for its traditional crafts, specifically the production of wickerwork and baskets. Many residents of Chimbarongo earn their living by weaving these items from mimbre.
