Pucón is a city and commune in Chile administered by its own municipality. It is situated in the Province of Cautín within the Araucanía Region, positioned approximately 100 km southeast of Temuco and 780 km south of the capital, Santiago.
The city is located on the eastern shore of Lake Villarrica. The Villarrica volcano is a prominent geographical feature nearby, situated roughly 17 km to the south of Pucón.
