El Quisco is a city and commune located in the San Antonio Province of Chile's Valparaíso Region. Situated along the country's central coast, it serves as a popular summer resort destination for residents of Santiago.
The city is part of the Coast of Poets, a cultural area named in honor of four prominent Chilean poets: Pablo Neruda, Vicente Huidobro, Violeta Parra, and Nicanor Parra. Notably, El Quisco is home to La Casa de Isla Negra, which was the former residence of Pablo Neruda and currently functions as both a museum and his burial site.
