Daloa

Ivory Coast

Daloa is a city located in western Ivory Coast. It serves as the administrative seat for both the Sassandra-Marahoué District and the Haut-Sassandra Region. Additionally, it functions as a commune and the seat of the Daloa Department.

As of the 2014 census, Daloa had a population of 245,360, making it the third-largest city in Ivory Coast. Situated to the west of the national capital, Yamoussoukro, the city is an important trading center, specifically known for its cocoa trade.

The city is served by Daloa Airport and is home to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Daloa. Its primary religious landmark is the Cathédrale du Christ-Roi.
