Koumassi is a suburb located in Ivory Coast. It functions as one of the 10 urban communes that comprise the city of Abidjan.
The commune is situated in the southern portion of the metropolitan area. It is one of four communes in Abidjan positioned entirely south of the Ébrié Lagoon, alongside Treichville, Marcory, and Port-Bouët.
