Doropo is a town and commune located in the far northeast of Ivory Coast. It serves as the seat of the Doropo Department within the Bounkani Region of the Zanzan District. The town is situated adjacent to the border with Burkina Faso, with a specific border crossing located approximately fifteen kilometres northwest of the town center.
As of 2021, the population of the sub-prefecture of Doropo was recorded at 48,225. It functions as an administrative hub for its department and serves as a point of proximity to neighboring Burkina Faso.
