Bondoukou is a city located in northeastern Ivory Coast, situated approximately 420 km northeast of the national city of Abidjan. It serves as an important administrative center within the country, functioning as the seat of both the Zanzan District and the Gontougo Region.
The city also holds several local administrative designations, serving as a commune and the seat of the Bondoukou Department. Additionally, it is classified as a sub-prefecture within that same department.
