Leuk is a municipality located in the district of Leuk within the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It serves as a regional center and administrative hub for its namesake district.
The current boundaries of the municipality were established on January 1, 2013, following the merger with the former municipality of Erschmatt. The area is situated in the southwestern part of the canton, characterized by its position within the Valais region.
