Renens is a municipality located in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Situated within the district of Ouest Lausannois, it serves as a suburb of the city of Lausanne and holds the distinction of being the fourth largest city in the canton.
The town is characterized by its high level of diversity, being considered very multiethnic. More than 50% of Renens' inhabitants are foreign nationals hailing from approximately one hundred different countries.
