Tiefencastel is a village located in the district of Albula within the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It historically functioned as an independent municipality.
On January 1, 2015, Tiefencastel merged with the municipalities of Alvaschein, Mon, Stierva, Alvaneu, Brienz/Brinzauls, and Surava to form the new municipality of Albula/Alvra.
