Tafers is a municipality located in the district of Sense within the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. It serves as a notable linguistic point within the region, as it maintains a large majority of German speakers despite being situated in a predominantly French-speaking canton.
The current administrative boundaries of the municipality were established on January 1, 2021, following the merger of the former municipalities of St. Antoni and Alterswil into Tafers.
