Ouésso is a town and commune located in the Ouésso District in northern Republic of the Congo. It serves as the capital of the Sangha Department and is situated along the border of Cameroon.
The settlement lies on the Sangha River and is surrounded by rainforest. According to the country's latest official census conducted in 2023, the population of Ouésso was 75,095.
